  • Biography: Dr. Atanas Baltadjiev was Associate Professor at the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology at the Medical University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He was teaching students in medicine and dentistry as well as graduate and postgraduate students through lectures and seminars in anatomy, anthropology, histology and embryology. His scientific interests are mainly concentrated in the morpho-anthropological characteristic of patients suffering from type 2 Diabetes mellitus. This topic is the basis of his dissertation and the main part of my scientific publications. He have twenty-five years experience in the field of medicine, including 20 years as lecturer and scientist. He have published over 40 original research papers, including 3 monographs. He have more than 50 participations at international and local medical congresses.
