  • Biography: Vasil Bozhkov was born in 1973. He graduated the secondary education in 1992 at the French Language School in Varna and higher education in 1998 at the Medical University - Varna. Since 01.1999 he was a resident in General Surgery at the Second Surgery Clinic at the Hospital "St. Marina" - Varna, at the Department of Surgical Diseases of the Medical University - Varna. Recognized a specialty in surgery in 2005. Since 2007, he has been an assistant at the Department of Surgical Diseases, and in 2011, a chief assistant at the same department. In 2013 he completed his PhD in "Diagnostic - therapeutic strategy in patients with cholangitis". From 2015 he is working as an Associate Professor in Surgery.
