Biography:Biography:Dr. Paula Julian is the Executive Director and Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. In this role, shedirects and oversees the Bachelor of Science Nursing program. She participates in scholarly work and also facilitates learning in both the clinical and theoretical setting.
Dr. Julian’s most recent research involves cultural competence amongst nurse educators. Dr. Julian holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Master’sof Science in Nursing Education (MSN), a Post Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a PhD in Nursing Education and Administration. She has clinical experience in multiple clinical settings and is also a certified pediatric nurse (CPN).
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Arkansas Registered Nurse Association, and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society to name a few.
She has been practicing for over 30 years and has been facilitating the learning of nursing students for over 20 years.
