Biography:Dr. Kimberly Williams’has experience in integrating behavioral health screening for risky behaviors, especially non-suicidal self-injury in children, adolescents, and young adults. Her research has received intermural/national organizational extramural funding. She has conducted research both nationally in the United States as well as internationally. Dr. Williams as previously served as Co-Director for the traineeship grant, Building Interdisciplinary Teams and Preparing Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) Nurse Practitioners to Provide PMH Treatment in Integrated Primary Care Settings, funded through the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) to expand the behavioral health workforce in rural and underserved areas of northeast Ohio. And is the Project Director of thePsychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opioid Workforce Expansion Program (OWEP) for the Gulf Coast Region aimed at expanding the Gulf Coast Region’s (OUD)/substance use disorders (SUD) workforce
