Biography:Ayten Aylin Tas is a lecturer in food chemistry and nutrition at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) in the College of Science.
Aylin is a dedicated and qualified lecturer, who has more than 15 years of teaching experience in higher and further education. While working as an assistant professor previously, Aylin carried out research, produced scientific publications and authored books. Aylin also has had managerial responsibilities at university settings and acted as Head of Department and Deputy Head of School.
As a qualified nutrition professional, Aylin is registered with the Association for Nutrition and she is a Registered Nutritionist specialised in Food. Aylin also acts as a reviewer for various peer-reviewed academic journals on nutrition and food science.
