Biography: Suvakanta N. Swain is a PhD in Demography from the International Institute for Population Studies (IIPS), Mumbai. Before joining the multi-disciplinary PhD program, he received a Masters degree in Sociology with a focus on gender and public health. Suvakanta brings ten years of experience in developing; managing and publishing research studies among different at-risk and hard to reach populations for HIV, sexual and reproductive health outcomes, Gender and Nutrition in a limited resource and multi-cultural settings. His policy influencing research works also include gender, masculinities and migration.
