Biography:

Ehab Malkawi is an Associate Professor in the Department of physics at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) where he has been a faculty member since 2003. He served as an Assistant and Associate Professor in the physics Department at the Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) in Jordan from 1996 till 2003. Ehab completed his Ph.D. at Michigan State University/USA and his undergraduate studies at Yarmouk University/Jordan. His research interests in physics span different fields, such as physics education, mathematical physics, the phenomenology of Elementary Particle Physics with focus on the electroweak physics beyond the Standard Model, and the physics applications of Fractional Calculus. Ehab has served on a large number of committees, at the department and college level. Ehab has taught many undergraduate and graduate courses in physics at UAEU and JUST.
