After his MD, Dr.Nigamworkrd as senior registrar at the Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi. In the year 1988, Dr.Nigam joined the Department of Dermatology, STD & Leprosy,Pt.J.N.M.Medical College, Raipur-492001, Chhattisgarh, India as a teaching faculty on the post of assistant professor and got promoted to the posts of associate professor and then professor of dermatology. Presently he is working as Direcror cum Professor & Head,Department of Dermatology, STD & Leprosy,Pt.J.N.M.Medical College, Raipur-492001, Chhattisgarh, India.Dr.Nigam has published over 55 peer-reviewed scientific articles in various areas and has authored 2 Book Chapters.
