Biography: Zhenyu Chen is a professor in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China. He received his M.s.in applied chemistry in 2003 and Ph.D. in material chemistry in 2010. He has published more than 50 research papers in international journals, 8 invention patents and 1 personal monograph. He has also edited six book chapters.His research spans corrosion, inhibitors and electrochemistry. He focuses on preparation of corrosion inhibitors and investigation on the inhibition mechanism of inhibitors. His research is supported by Chinese National Natural Science Foundation, National Science and Technology Major Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, The National R&D Infrastructure and Facility Development Program of China, etc.
