Zabidah Putit heavily involved in the development of nursing curriculum particularly as head of department leading the team to upgrade the three years bachelor of nursing program to a four year program in 2003 and 2004 to suit to the standard and criteria of the Ministry of higher education, and accredited by National Accreditation Board Malaysia in 2005. She has developed various module and taught an extensive list of courses and lectures to undergraduate nursing program. She is also involved in teaching the medical students at undergraduate-level, and postgraduate (Master in Public Health and PhD Public Health at FMHS).
