Biography: I am Associate Editor of Journal of Paediatric Diseases, Associate Editor of Diabetes and Obesity International Journal, Executive Editor of International Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and I serve on the Editorial Boards for Practical Diabetes, Journal of Pediatric Sciences, International Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health, World Journal of Meta-Analysis, EC Paediatrics, Journal of Perinatology and Paediatrics, Journal of Endocrinology and Diabetes and on the Reviewer Board for the Journal of Pediatric Biochemistry and the American Journal of Clinical Medicine Research. I am also a regular invited referee for many high impact journals. I believe that research and continuing medical education is important in ensuring quality of care and have held over £300,000 in research grants. I have produced 120 publications (56 peer reviewed research papers; 50 of which are first/senior author papers) including 2 Cochrane reviews, a book chapter, 100+ presentations at international scientific meetings, and presented at more than 100+ meetings locally and abroad. I have been invited keynote speaker at many national and international meetings including Diabetes UK in 2018, National Association of Sri Lanka 2018, Diabetes Ireland in 2017, Diabetes Professional Conference in 2016, National Network Forums, British Society of Paediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology and Royal College meetings.
