Biography: Dr.
Syatirah Najmi Abdullah is a senior lecturer and researcher in Faculty of
Dentistry University Sains Islam Malaysia, Malaysia. She was awarded with
MScDent from University of Adelaide, Australia and PhD in Dental Science by
University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Her research interests are in applied
dental sciences, oral microbiology and biofilm. In addition to teaching and
supervising research, she also served as book editor/ reviewer for local
publishing house.
