Biography: Syamsul Rizal Abd Shukor is a PhD holder in Chemical Engineeringspecializes in Process Control and Simulation. He received his B. Eng(Honours) in Chemical Engineering from University of Bradford in 1997and M.Sc (Chemical Engineering) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2000.He is currently an Associate Professor in School of Chemical Engineering,Universiti Sains Malaysia. His research interests include processintensification, process modeling and simulation and separationtechnologies. He has served as a Principle Investigator on various researchprojects funded by national ministries and research agencies. He hasauthored more than 50 journal papers and served as review panels forinternational and national high impact refereed journals.
