Biography:

Dr. Suryakanta Swain was born on 8th June 1980 in Debendrapur, Balasore, and Odisha (INDIA). After completing his B. Pharm with 79.37% from Berhampur University, Odisha, India and join in to M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) by qualifying GATE and N.I.P.E.R. All India Entrance Examinations with C.G.P.A 8.89 from BijuPatnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha, India. He is awarded his Ph.D in Pharmacy from Berhampur University on 09.12.2013. He started his career as a Research Trainee Executive in Formulation R&D in Medley Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd, Daman, India. He is working as Asst. Professor in Department of Pharmaceutics at Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Berhampur, Odisha, India from 30.06.2008 to 02.01.2015 and he has promoted to Associate Professor-cum-HoD in Pharmaceutics, SIMS College of Pharmacy, SIMS Group of Institutions,Mangaladas Nagar, Vijayawada Road, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. So far he has published 40 research papers, 15 review papers & 9 invited editorial short articles of national & international  journals with high indexing as well as impact factor with 355 citations (h-index=9 and i10-index=9). He has edited 1national book, published 5 international books & 13 national book chapters of reputed publishers. He has published one Indian Patent on 21st August-2015 with Application No. IP190/KOL/2014/CBR No.1525/Ref. No. E-2/326/2014-KOL.
