Biography: Dr. Slakey Douglas P received his Bachelor of Artsin History 1983 and Masters of Public Health-Infectious Disease, 1985 from University of California at Berkeley; M.D.from Medical College of Wisconsin,1989. He is currently working as a Professor of Surgery with tenure and Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in Tulane University Medical Center.Research Interests: Simulation Based Learning and Education,Human Factors: Application to Improving, Systems and Outcomes Effectiveness, Epidemiologic studies, outcomes indicators,Immune effector mechanisms - especially free radical biology
