Shima Shayanfar, Ph.D. is the Product Stability Scientistat General Mills supporting One Global Snack platform.She has extensive industrial experience on application of emerging technologies such as non-thermalprocessing and omic science in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Her experience spans R&D, quality assurance and project management.Shima serves as the advisory board for Agromiqgroup supporting innovation in sustainability and as editorial board for few portals and journals including Food Tech Innervational Portal and Journal of Applied Microbiological Research. She has published a book, few book chapters and dozens of peer reviewed journals in the field. Shima holds a PhD in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University with thesis on Molecular Responses of Non-O157 Shiga Toxin-Producing E.coli (STEC) to Different Stressors.
