Biography: Romina Simeon Kabranova was born on February 1, 1967 in Prilep, Macedonia. She graduated secondary high school education in Prilep. In the school year of 1984/85 she enrolled at the Faculty of Agriculture in Skopje, taking on the program of crop production. In 1989 she graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture - University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. Following her bachelor degree she enrolled in post graduate master studies in the academic year 1989/90 at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje, with a major in tobacco production and processing. She completed the studies in 2004 . Her master thesis was "Comparative research on the structure of production in Oriental tobacco in the Republic of Macedonia and the orientation towards the market", for which she gained the title: MSc in Agricultural Sciences.
Since 2005, she has been working at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje, firstly as a junior assistant on a group of subjects at the Department of Special Crop and Tobacco at the Institute of Plant Biotechnology (XXXVI Session held on 19.04.2005). Further on, in 2008 she was selected as an assistant to a group of subjects at the Department of Special Crop and Tobacco, Institute of Plant Biotechnology at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje (XXXIII session held on March 31, 2008). On 7th of September 2012, she acquired a doctorate degree in agricultural sciences with the defense of the doctoral dissertation for the "Influence of the manner of production of tobacco seedlings on the yield and quality of tobacco".
