Worked at various capacities in Conservation of Flora and fauna of Gersoppa, Conservation  of  Medicinal Plants in Charmadi and  Subramanya   areas of Karnataka, Studies onthe Western Ghats of Karnataka- Conservation of Flora and Fauna and its Plantlore,  Studies   on   conservation  of   plant   biodiversity  and  ecorestoration   of  abandoned  mines  of  Kudremukh, Studies on Rattans of Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts of Karnataka   with particular reference  to  species diversity, density  of population, seed viability and seed germination,  Pilikula  Nisarga  Dhama  Project  on Ex situ Conservation. These are funded by Indo-Norwegian  Environment  Program, Bangalore, MaCarthur Foundation, USA, IPGRI, Malaysia, KPOCL, Bangalore, NPC, Govt. of India.

Actively involved in delivering lectures in high schools and colleges of the Dakshina Kannada in environmental awareness programmes and conservation of medicinal plants. One of the core activity as resource person in the eco-education training programmes for the teachers and students of eco-clubs in 200 high schools of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts constituted by the Govt. of Karnataka.
