Field of interest in research:  carried out experimental trails to evaluate effects of Unani drugs on diseases like: Depression, DM, Obesity, Hyperlipidemia, Atherosclerosis, Myocardial Infarction and Vascular thrombosis etc.

Currently working on: development of common chemical markers for different groups of Unani drugs,  to generate direct correlation of reference marker compounds with respect to their biological activity for a particular therapeutic area or disease pattern- by using sophisticated instrumental methods for quality control of Unani drugs.
