Biography: Muttamthottil Varghese Francis is having 29 years of clinical research experience in  PERIORBITAL  HEADACHES , HEADACHES  IN GENERAL  MIGRAINEAND  PEDIATRIC  MIGRAINE , VISUAL AURAS , TAC, NEUROIMAGING andNeuroophthalmology . 7 international travel awards ( American headache society presidents travel award ( 2001) / International headache society  travel award ( 2002) etc ) and  46 international research abstracts( largest  from  India) on migraine and related disorders. Bursary  award  by  British headache society  and European headache federation  and fellowship training  in  headache  at  Trinity , Cambridge in 2001.  Treasurer  Indian  Headache Society . Modified pediatric migraine diagnostic criteria in London in 2002 ( Platform presentation - Migraine Trust International Symposium )  . Presented 8abstracts( 3 platform  and 5 posters )  in 2004 in the International pediatric headache congress in Vienna. Proposed  a new definition of pediatric migraine in Brisbain in 2012 and in Boston IHC in 2013. Chair of the special interest group on pediatric headache in the BrisbainChild neurology congress in 2012.One of the  four core committee members and  faculty  in the  first   I H S  Headache master school in INDIA( 2014)  to  train Indian neurologists .
