Mehmet Ali Kılıçarslan graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1990. He obtained PhD degree with his thesis on the ‘physical evaluation of porcelain laminate veneer crowns and their bonding systems prepared with various techniques’ in 1997. Dr. Kılıçarslan worked as research assistant between 1990-1997 in same university. He received his Associate Professor title in 2006. He worked at Dental Hospital which is bound The Ministry of Health of Turkey and Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Dentistry. He is currently continuing his job at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry as a full time professor and vice dean. 

He is a member of Turkish Dental Association (TDB), Turkish Prosthodontic and Implantology Association (TPID), Turkish Dental Education Accreditation Association (DEDAD), European Prosthodontic Association (EPA) and International Association for Dental Research (IADR). Mehmet Ali Kılıçarslan is married, with one child
