Biography: Jiangkun Fan,associate professor at the School of Material
Science and Engineering, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU). He
received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in materials science from NPU. And
then received his PhD degree in materials science from the LEM3 laboratory at
the University of Lorraine (France).Dr. Fan’s research interests include phase
transformation crystallography, strengthening and toughening mechanism,
microstructure-property control and hot deformation behavior of advanced
titanium alloys and super alloys. He has published more than 30papersand serves
as a reviewer for many journals such as Journal of Alloys and Compounds,
Materials Characterization, Materials & Design, and also serves as a foreign
reviewer for the Czech Science Foundation.
