Biography: Ismail Lotfy Mohamad graduated from Assiut University’s programs in Medicine and Surgery in 1998 and obtained my Master’s Degree in Pediatrics in 2004. After that I joined the Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit, at Assiut University, as a staff member teaching Pediatrics for medical students and postgraduates. In 2010, I received my graduate MD degree. I am currently an Associate professor in our Pediatrics department at the Assiut University Children's Hospital, which is the largest children’s medical centre in Upper Egypt. It is a teaching hospital with more than 550 beds that provides both primary and tertiary care for children in all governorates in Upper Egypt. My research interests include pediatric Infectious diseases, neuropsychiatric diseases and ICU.
