Biography: Huiyuan Jiang, M.D., Ph.D., has served as assistant professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at the Division of Pediatric Neurology since 2006. He is ABPN board certified in the specialty of Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology. He is a member of American Academy of Neurology. Prior to his Neurology residency training, he was a research associate at the Department of Neurology of Wayne State University from 1994 to 2001. His research was mainly involving myelin protein related disorders. Currently, he is doing 100% clinic work and is participating in two clinical trials. In the near future, he will focus on research of demyelinating and dysmyelinating disorders. Currently, he is in charge of the Muscular Dystrophy Association clinic at Childrens Hospital as co-director. He is also in charge of the nerve conduction/electromyography clinic.
