A Public Health Physician, and  Deputy Dean of Academic and Research at the Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health,  NDUM.  Pioneer staff in setting up  three Medical Faculties. Conducts accreditation visits (for MQA) of medical schools in Malaysia and board member of the theory examination for provisional registration of medical doctors.

25 years experiencelecturing community medicine, epidemiology, biostatistics, health management, ethics, adolescent health and professional/personal development. Was awarded Fellow of the Public Health Chapter of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia 2017.Is a Masters, PhD supervisor and adjudicator for public health topics.

Published articles on breast feeding, depression among school children, stress among  diversified group of people, obesity among students and  electromagnetic field radiation effect on health.
