Biography: Fawzi Banat is a Professor & Chair of Chemical Engineering Department at the Petroleum Institute (PI). After obtaining his chemical engineering doctorate at McGill University, Canada, in 1995, he taught at several universities before joining the PI in 2011. He has published over 120 papers in reputed journals and served in many scientific committees.
