Dr. Ozturk worked  in the establishment of the Hospitals and  the Departments of Ophthalmology of  the University of Manisa Celal Bayar and Afyon Kocatepe between 1996 and 2008. He was the Head of Department of Ophthalmology at Afyon Kocatepe University from 1999 until 2008. He was Vice-Dean of the Medical Faculty of Afyon Kocatepe University. Since 2008, he worked for the renovation and the modernization of Ulucanlar Eye Hospital. Dr. Ozturk served as the Head of Ankara Ulucanlar Eye Trainee and Research Hospital between 2008-2013. He was the Head of Department of Ophthalmology, Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Medicine and Ataturk Trainee and Research Hospital, Ankara, Turkey. He is now working in Hacettepe University.

Research Interest: diagnosis and the treatment of retinal diseases, glaucoma and cataract
