Biography:

In 2007, I accepted a position as an assistant professor of Pharmacology and Neuroscience at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie PA. There, I taught for several years during which I received several recognition awards from the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) for my contributions towards the development of step -1 COMLEX board examination. In 2013, I took up my current position as an associate professor of Pharmacology here at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership, a joint venture between the Augusta University and the University of Georgia. At the moment, I am working on several scientific projects and Iam looking for possible collaboration with several other laboratories here at UGA on microglia research and related area.
