Dr. Elisa Andreozzi is a post-doctoral associate at the Molecular Characterization of Foodborne Pathogens Research Unit, Eastern Regional Research Center, Agricultural Research Service, United States Department of Agriculture (Wyndmoor, PA, USA). Her work focuses on the understanding of virulence and biofilm molecular mechanisms of food-borne pathogenicEscherichia coli.
Dr. Elisa Andreozzi received a M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2010 and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science in 2014, both from University of Urbino (PU, Italy). While working on her Ph.D project, focused onlegionella biofilms and study of biofilm inhibition strategies, she was hosted as visiting Ph.D.student at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (Braunschweig, Germany) to deepen her knowledge on Legionellapneumophila.
