Biography:
In 1991
was declared Phdoctor on "Crop Productivity of growingplants" and
from 2010 is associated professor of Catania University where he has studied aspects
related to diversification of vegetable production in terms of biology and adaptation,
both in open field and in protected cultivation, of species widespread in other
geographic regions, and species neglected or underutilized, such as wild
species utilized for food (Eu project EEC 8001-CT90-0015 “Optimization of
protected cultivation by introduction new crops or by modifying some
growingtechniques”).
