Dr. Aef A Adelhafez is a Prof. of Medicinal Chemistry at Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, Egypt. DrAtef received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry from Assiut University under the channel system and joint supervision scheme between Assiut University and Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University/Japan(1999). He performed his postdoctoral training as a postdoctoral research fellow and Scientist at Institute of Natural Medicine, Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Japan  according to the academic honor awarded by Japan Society for the Promotion of Sciences (JSPS)(2000- 2002). He joined Department of Medicinal Chemistry as an assistant Prof. in 1999, then promoted to associate Prof. in 2004 and to Professor in 2009. Dr ATEF appointed as a head of Medicinal Chemistry department since 2011 till now. Heis a member of Egyptian Syndicate of Pharmacists since 1989, Egyptian Society of Pharmacists since 1991,membership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan in 2002, membership of the Arab Society for Medical Research in 2005, and the American Chemical Society since 2015. Dr ATEF published numerous papers in prestigious international journals, edited and reviewed for many academic journals, worked as a guest assistant professor in Arab Medical University/Jordan, as a guest associate professor in Taif University, Saudi Arabia, as a guest professor in Al-Arab Medical University, Libya, and research scientist in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Computer aided drug design center, University of Maryland, USA. He participated as a PI or Co-investigator in several projects.
