Biography: Dr. Amin is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a senior member of IEEE, a member of Engineering Council (CEng), IET and Optical Society of America (OSA). Dr. Amin Graduated in 2002 in Computer Engineering. He obtained his Master of Technology (MTech) in Electronic Engineering in 2006 and PhD degree in Computer System Engineering (Optical Fiber Communication systems) Currently he is working at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Nottingham as an associate professor. Dr. Amin has published over 60 papers, and is the holder of 4 patents on optical fiber communication systems.
