Biography: Prof Dr Adam Husein has graduated in 1996 from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He worked with the Ministry of Health for three consecutive years after his graduation. After that, he joined the School of Dental Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1999 as a trainee lecturer. In the same year he went back to Adelaide for post graduate training in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Upon completion of his training in 2004, he immediately started his career as a lecturer at USM. After 5 years as a lecturer, he was offered leave for sub specialty training in the United Kingdom. He pursued his sub specialty training in Oral Rehabilitation of Head and Neck Cancer Patients in Liverpool and Manchester. He also had two weeks attachment at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York City in 2014. ProfDr Adam is also a fellow with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). He teaches Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics for undergraduates and postgraduates students. His research areas are mainly in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Currently, ProfDr Adam is the Dean of the School of Dental Sciences, USM.
